As a professional engineer, computer scientist, businessman, and professor
of Software Engineering, Radu brings to Aceora a know-how and passion for
fostering professional excellence, applying software engineering best
practices, and leveraging technological innovation.
Prior to founding Aceora, Radu held engineering positions with Sun
Microsystems Laboratories and IBM Canada Toronto Lab, taught Computer Science at the University of Waterloo,
Software Engineering and
Software Management at McGill University, and, more recently,
Web Programming at the University of Toronto, Department of Computer Science, and architected the Abrise intellectual property portal. Radu
has over 50 professional publications and over 600 hours of lectures and
public speeches in diverse areas of Computer Engineering.
Radu holds a Ph.D. from the School of Computer Science, University of
Waterloo, Canada, a M.Sc. from the School of Electrical Engineering,
Georgia Institute of Technology, U.S.A., and an Engineer degree from the
Faculty of Automation and Computers, Politehnica University of Bucharest,
Romania. Radu is a member of the PEO (Canada) and IEEE (USA) professional
societies.
